Isodose Distribution from Electron Beams of Energy 6 to 18MeV from Nelac 1018

Abstract
|
|
|
Isodose distributions from radiotherapy electron beams of energy 6 to 18MeV from Nelac 1018 medical linear accelerator have been measured in water phantom by ionization chamber and Fujitec FM0036 three dimensional isodose plotter.
The isodose curve graphs and data are presented and compared for
ar beams of various energies and field sizes. The effect of field size is discussed. Contamination of the electron beam by X-rays, checking the out-put, flatness, collimation, symmetry of the electron beams are described.
